Following our high-energy staff Convocation, approximately 500 LVISD employees will have the opportunity to visit with local businesses and organizations. This is a great opportunity to introduce your business, build relationships, and show your support for the educators and staff who make a difference every day.

💻🐻 Bring Your Own Chromebook (BYOC) is Coming to La Vernia ISD! 🐻💙
La Vernia ISD is excited to launch our optional Bring Your Own Chromebook (BYOC) program for the 2026–2027 school year, beginning with La Vernia High School.
This program gives families the option to provide a personal Chromebook while ensuring equal access for all students. District-issued Chromebooks will continue to be available for any student who needs one, and all devices will be enrolled in our district management system with web filtering and security protection.
📌 High school students who plan to participate in BYOC can bring their Chromebooks to Prep Days for software installation so they'll be ready for the first day of school!

This optional program allows students to use a personally owned Chromebook for instructional purposes while at school. This BYOC program is in compliance with HB 1481 regarding personal communication devices. ✅
