📣🏡💙 If the VATRE passes, LVISD would have an overall tax rate reduction! 📣🏡💙

Based on an average taxable home value of $500,000, the overall tax rate will decrease from $1.0619 in 2024 to $1.0519 in 2025 — providing an estimated $50 in savings (not including any additional exemptions).

✅ Good to Know: Homeowners over 65 or those with a disability exemption have a tax ceiling, meaning school taxes are frozen and won't increase unless the home’s value goes up due to new additions.

Sure, you think you've seen this type of murder mystery before. A cast of eccentric characters meet at a mansion, only to become suspects of a murder that a singular genius detective will eventually solve. But what happens when all the suspects are the detectives? Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, Miss Marple, and Batman are just a few of the guests. Too Many Detectives at the Murder Mansion is a whodunnit that will leave you laughing and guessing right until the very end—and there are three different endings we will choose from - each show will have a different ending!

This family friendly murder mystery comedy will be in the LVISD Auditorium:
October 3, 2025 at 6:30 pm
October 4, 2025 at 2:00 pm
October 4, 2025 at 6:30 pm

Tickets:
$5 cash or check (made payable to LVISD) at the door

Seating will be first come first serve
Doors will open 30 minutes before show
Anyone 3+ must have a ticket to enter theater

This will be a family friendly comedy show with 3 different endings, so each night you will be in for some good laughs and a surprise at the end!
