Good afternoon. I wanted to make all parents aware that the gate on San Antonio Rd by the park will be closed due to high water today during Junior High dismissal. We appreciate your patience as we work to get all of our students safely picked up and home.

La Vernia Independent School District is closed tomorrow due to inclement weather. With the chance of precipitation from 11pm to 11am, school will be canceled tomorrow in abundance of caution for the safety of our students, staff, parents, and the community.

LVJHS showed up to support Hailey's Kids in La Vernia. Student Council was proud to assist with this project and delivered 80 items to families locally. Thank you all for this support.
We welcomed the Grinch to school today. He enjoyed a little lunch with some of our students.
