  • school meals available

We are excited to announce that LVISD will continue providing breakfast and lunch for our students while we are closed due to COVID-19 precautions!

To remain in compliance with Governor Abbott's social distancing guidelines and reduce the amount of exposure our families and staff may have to illness, we will transition to a single meal pickup time from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM beginning on Monday, March 23. Both lunch for the current day and breakfast for the next day will be available for pickup at the same time.

For example, if you would like breakfast for your child on Monday, March 23, you will be able to receive it at lunchtime on Friday, March 20. Meal pickup will continue to occur at the Intermediate campus bus lane (369 FM 1346 South, La Vernia, TX 78121). Student meals will be provided Monday-Friday through April 3.

As a friendly reminder, all current LVISD students are welcome to use this service, but the student(s) must be present at pickup and able to provide their student ID number in order to receive a meal. Each meal will come at no charge to our students regardless of meal eligibility status, and your LVISD student does not need to attend school at our Intermediate campus to receive a breakfast or lunch. Milk will be available at each meal; a full menu is available for viewing and download below. Please note that due to federal regulations, we are unable to provide meals for adults.

Since our schools are closed, meals will be packaged to-go and our cafeterias will not be open during these times. Families are advised to stay in their cars and not enter any of our buildings during meal pick up; however, families that walk to the Intermediate School during a service time will be able to pick up meals for their students.

We look forward to continuing to meet the nutritional needs of our students!

Click here to download a PDF version of our menu from March 23-April 3.
