I am honored to be the Superintendent of Schools for La Vernia ISD. The voice and values of our students, teachers, parents, community and school board are foundational to implementing the district’s mission to the fullest - to collaboratively educate and inspire all students to be life-long learners with unlimited possibilities as contributing members of society. I am deeply committed to this charge and excited to learn about how it is being implemented throughout the district.

As your new superintendent, I am grateful for the comprehensive planning process our district engaged in this past Fall to create the 2019-2022 Strategic Plan. It provides a foundational roadmap to accessing a quality education.

La Vernia ISD is a district with great kids, great teachers and great parents supported by a wonderful community. La Vernia ISD has the potential to be known as one of the best schools in Texas. I want our schools to be a beacon of pride for the community. We need to support our teachers, provide training and resources as needed and create consistency in everything we do. Transparency and communication will be foundational.
