LVISD Situation Summary: Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Situation Summary (Updated April 17, 2020, at 2:00 PM): In keeping with state and federal guidelines and recommendations from public health officials, LVISD is extending the closure of our schools and facilities for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year to help prevent the exposure of COVID-19 to our students, staff, and the community. All extracurricular and athletics activities, practices, and events are suspended while we are closed.
LVISD leaders will remain in close conversation with local and state health officials and the CDC in order to make informed decisions about when it is safe to resume school activities.
