ATTENTION: Parents of Young Children

Family Literacy Activities

La Vernia Independent School District is proud to offer three seminars for parents of young children!  You are invited to come and learn about activities for young children in reading and math.   You will be given the opportunity to make some of the games for use in your home.   Discipline strategies will also be shared by LVISD staff.  Free breakfast will be served and free babysitting will also be offered.  

This awesome morning will happen on Saturday, February 13, 2010.  Breakfast will begin at 9:00 AM in the La Vernia Primary School cafeteria.  

Please return the RSVP slip to your child’s daycare director, classroom teacher, or the Primary School office by Friday, February 5, 2010. You can download and print the RSVP slip by clicking here.
