CHILD FIND NOTICE
Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities
The Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) provides educational services for children 3-5 years of age identified with a physical, mental, perceptual, speech, language, social and/or emotional disabilities.
Children with vision and/or hearing problems may be eligible for special education services beginning at birth.
If you are aware of a child who is suspected of having a disability and who resides in the La Vernia Independent School District, please contact the La Vernia ISD Special Education office at 830-779-6600 x3 then 1 for information about screening and evaluation services at no costs.
