Returning and New Student
Registration Information
 
Late Registration dates for those who were unable to attend Registration in June are as follows:
 
Grades 9 - 12: July 27, 28, or 29, 2016
7:30 AM - 1:00 PM 
High School Cafeteria, 100 Bldg
 
Grades 6 - 8: July 27, 28, or 29, 2016
7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Junior High School Office
 
Grades 3 - 5: July 27, 28, or 29, 2016
7:30 AM - 1:00  PM
Intermediate Campus Office
 
Grades PK - 2: July 27, 28, or 29, 2016
7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Primary Campus Office
 
A parent or guardian must be present at registration and will need to bring their current proof of residency (recent utility bill) and their driver's license or official photo ID with current address.  Students will not receive a schedule or teacher assignment in the Fall until the registration process is complete.  

NOTE - If you completed the registration process in June or at the Early Childhood Fair for your 2016-2017 student you need not attend late registration.

What to bring?
Required documentation for Returning Students:
  • Photo ID of Enrolling Parent/Guardian with current address
  • Current Proof of Residency within La Vernia ISD (current water, electric, or gas bill with address)
  • Student's Social Security Card - ONLY if student's SSN changed from last school year
  • Copy of court orders providing guardianship, if applicable
 
Required documentation for New Students:
  • Student's Birth Certificate (certified copy).  To obtain a copy:  https://www.dshs.state.tx.us/VS/
  • Student's Social Security Card
  • Photo ID of Enrolling Parent/Guardian with current address
  • Current Proof of Residency within La Vernia ISD (current water, electric, or gas bill with address)
  • Student's Immunization Record validated by a physician's signature or stamp
  • School records from prior school(s) attended (withdrawal form, unofficial transcript, or report card and standardized test results)
  • Copy of court orders providing guardianship, if applicable
  • New High School students will need to schedule an appointment with the Counselors to create their class schedules.
 
First Day of School is August 24, 2016
